are you available to read all those book and enjoy them quietly??
I read every single day! It’s usually how I start my day and end it. I have a rough time sleeping some nights and find myself reading a whole book in the middle of the night!
I also don’t need quiet to read. In fact the more chaos going on around me, the easier it is for me to get lost in what I’m reading!
That’s great!! Good for you kimberly. I enjoy every morning reading press and similars and every night my book. I need some read to get sleep. Now I’m reading “mil soles espléndidos” of Khaled Hosseini.

How can you find the time to read all of this books? I am very surprised. Probably you get aid for read, which is really a very nice job. But otherwise, can you give us some tips so we can find ways to read more quickly and enjoy all the readings in a margin of time?
Thanks!
I don’t get paid to read at all! I work a full time job 45+ hours a week, as well as volunteer my time helping plan my local Relay For Life event, and with my college’s alumni association.
My secret is that I’m an extremely fast reader. I wasn’t always like this though. My best advice is to carve out a half hour of your day EVERY SINGLE DAY and read what you can in that half hour. Your brain and eyes will get faster the more you read. It can be reading anything – the newspaper, blogs, a book, magazine — anything. Just read. After like 2 weeks you’ll find that your pace has quickened and what used to take you an hour to read will take you a half hour. The more you practice reading the faster you’ll become. My personal pace is about 100 pages an hour. And it’s simply because I took the time every day to read.
Good luck!
Thanks for sharing the secret. . .its really practical. . .and no doubt needs a steel dedication. 😉
This is very inspirational — thank you!
All the best,

I am also impressed (as everyone) about the amount of books you read! That is so great! But what I really wonder is… are you rich? Haha, or you just download all those books?
HAHA definitely not rich! I find book deals online A LOT. B&N did a sale on over 1,000 nook books two weeks ago which allowed me to stock up on tons of books for less than $3 each. I’m also a member of the discount club at my local indie bookstore, so I get my physical books discounted too.
I should also mention The Strand bookstore in NYC. They sell used books for SUPER CHEAP and they’re in good condition. They’ll ship anywhere, so it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for good deals. I’ve gotten hardcover books there for under $4.
Genuine question. . . .
Hello there. This is GREAT! I should start something like this. How do you find the time? I tried reading a book last week and I managed to finish up till 20 pages only. This week, no progress from that 20 pages. Ha ha..
I always tell people to start small. Set yourself up with a half hour of reading time a day. But make it EVERY DAY. With time you’ll find yourself increasing the amount of pages you read in that 30 minute time period. As your pace increases the amount of completed books you have will increase too!
